Copyright Policy

Kuhudak Community respects the intellectual property rights of creators, publishers, photographers, videographers, artists, and copyright owners. We expect every member to respect those rights as well.

This Copyright Policy explains how copyrighted content may be used on the Kuhudak Community, how copyright complaints are handled, and the responsibilities of all users. By using the Kuhudak Community, you agree to comply with this Copyright Policy.

1. Copyright Ownership

You retain ownership of any original content that you create and publish on the Kuhudak Community.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Comments

  • Videos
  • Audio recordings

  • Graphics
  • Maps
  • Other original creative works

Publishing your content on Kuhudak does not transfer ownership of your copyright to Kuhudak.

2. License Granted to Kuhudak

By submitting content to the Kuhudak Community, you grant Kuhudak a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable license to:

  • Display your content on the platform.
  • Store and host your content.
  • Reproduce your content as necessary for technical operation.
  • Optimize, resize, compress, or format content for different devices.
  • Promote your publicly shared content within Kuhudak services, official social media channels, newsletters, and marketing materials, while always crediting the original creator whenever reasonably possible.

This license exists solely for operating, improving, promoting, and providing the Kuhudak Community. Ownership of your content always remains with you.

3. Your Responsibility

Before uploading any content, you confirm that:

  • You are the copyright owner; or
  • You have obtained all necessary permissions, licenses, or legal rights to publish the content.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload.

4. Prohibited Copyright Violations

You must not upload, copy, publish, distribute, or share content that infringes another person’s copyright.

Examples include:

  • Copying travel articles from websites.
  • Reposting photographs without permission.
  • Uploading videos taken from YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms without authorization.
  • Scanning books or magazines.
  • Sharing paid or pirated digital content.
  • Removing watermarks or copyright notices.
  • Claiming ownership of another person’s work.

Giving credit to the original creator does not replace the need for permission where permission is legally required.

5. Third-Party Content

If you upload third-party content, you must have the legal right to do so.

This includes:

  • Licensed photographs
  • Stock images
  • Licensed music
  • Videos
  • Graphics
  • Maps
  • Logos

You are responsible for complying with any license terms or restrictions attached to such content.

6. Music and Audio

Users must not upload music, sound recordings, or audio that they do not have permission to use.

Background music included in uploaded videos must also be properly licensed or otherwise legally permitted.

7. Respect for Community Content

Content published by members belongs to its respective creator.

You may not:

  • Copy another member’s posts.
  • Download and republish community photos.
  • Share another member’s videos on other platforms without permission.
  • Reuse community content for commercial purposes without authorization.

Always obtain permission from the original creator before using or sharing their work outside the Kuhudak Community.

8. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used without authorization, you may submit a copyright complaint.

Please include:

  • Your full name.
  • Your contact information.
  • A description of the copyrighted work.
  • The URL or location of the infringing content.
  • A statement that you believe the use is unauthorized.
  • A statement that the information provided is accurate.
  • Confirmation that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Incomplete reports may delay the review process.

9. Notice and Takedown

Upon receiving a valid copyright complaint, Kuhudak may:

  • Review the reported content.
  • Temporarily disable access.
  • Remove the content.
  • Contact the uploader.
  • Request additional information from either party.

We reserve the right to remove content while an investigation is ongoing.

10. Counter Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error or that you have the legal right to publish it, you may submit a counter notice. Your counter notice should explain why the content does not infringe copyright and include any supporting information or evidence. Kuhudak may restore content if appropriate after reviewing the matter.

11. Repeat Infringers

Accounts that repeatedly violate copyright may be subject to:

  • Content removal.
  • Temporary restrictions.
  • Suspension.
  • Permanent account termination.

The severity of enforcement depends on the nature and frequency of the violations.

12. Fair Use and Legal Exceptions

Certain uses of copyrighted material may be permitted under applicable laws, such as fair use, fair dealing, quotation, criticism, commentary, news reporting, education, or research.

Kuhudak evaluates such claims on a case-by-case basis and reserves the right to request additional information where necessary.

13. Copyright Disclaimer

Kuhudak Community hosts user-generated content.

Users are solely responsible for the content they publish.

Kuhudak does not claim ownership of user content and cannot guarantee that all uploaded materials are free from copyright issues.

When notified of a valid copyright concern, we will take appropriate action consistent with this policy and applicable law.

14. False Copyright Claims

Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent copyright complaints is prohibited.

Anyone who intentionally submits false claims may have their account restricted or terminated and may be subject to legal consequences under applicable law.
